Yasawa Island Resort and Spa, Fiji

There are 15 words in Fijian for heaven, and Yasawa is the first. Revel in a secluded area renowned for its beautiful pristine white sandy beaches and crystal clear swimming waters.
No other resorts, no televisions, no traffic and no mobile phones. The 18 traditionally thatched beachfront bures are understated luxury, hidden among palms, each air-conditioned with its own thatched beachfront hut, a pair of outdoor day beds, a discreet outdoor show on its own sundeck and a hammock strung between the palms. All gourmet meals, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and most activities are included.

Take your vows on the sands of a deserted beach, before a tropical sunset or under the southern stars. You needn’t decide until you get there. Invite the choir from nearby Bukama village, choose traditional decorations and tropical flowers, or summon a guard of Fijian warriors. A wedding at Yasawa is yours to command – make it as elaborate or as simple as you like.

Tamassa Resort, Mauritius

With the Christmas holidays fast approaching, now is as good a time as any to plan your next honeymoon or even your next holiday!

To make it count you'll require a party spirit, movie screenings on the beach at dusk, a hammock and poolside cocktails. Introducing Tamassa, the vibrant four-star beach hotel in Mauritius, set in tropical gardens on the white sandy beaches with rustling coconut trees and a cobalt ocean.

This all-inclusive hotel in Mauritius, located at Bel Ombre in the south-west of the island, is surrounded by dramatic mountains and dense sugercane fields. Here, an effervescent zest for life combines with contemporary design to bring the young (and young at heart) the perfect spot for fun and relaxation!

Imagine… Tying the knot on a sandy beach, your family and friends close to hand, the sky alive with colour as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean… It may sound like fantasy, but thanks to the benevolence and hospitality of the Mauritian people, your dream wedding can become a reality without the stress or bureaucratic red tape that couples can often experience elsewhere.

Unlike many exotic wedding destinations, Mauritius offers non-residents a legally binding marriage. Symbolic ceremonies and vow renewals are also popular, but what truly sets Mauritius apart is the island's tendency to embrace every visitor as one of its own. The Mauritian Government introduced a special procedure simplifying the bureaucracy for non-resident couples, allowing you to focus on more important things, enjoying each and every moment of your special day…
