InterContinental Fiji Launches Half-Million Wedding Experience

Up to 100 guests can spend a week at Fiji’s only luxury resort within a resort as part of InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa’s new half-million wedding package.

The new Sogo Lagilagi experience - the ultimate destination weddings package - includes exclusive use of all 55 of Club InterContinental’s hilltop suites for five nights, a waterfront wedding reception overlooking one of the world’s best beaches, business class airfares and helicopter transfers for the bride and groom, as well as private use of the Club lounge and infinity pool.

The VIP experience begins with the couple being treated to a pre-wedding, three-night getaway at the resort, enjoying a personalised menu tasting and consultation with InterContinental Fiji’s dedicated wedding co-ordinator, and travelling in style with return business class airfares and chauffered airport transfers.

For the wedding celebration, guests will be treated to pre-dinner canapés and a three-course reception dinner in the resort’s award-winning beachfront Navo Restaurant, with a private, post-wedding oceanfront brunch to follow the next day.

“We’re really excited to be offering wedding guests private access to our Club InterContinental for a truly memorable week in Fiji’s only luxury resort with a resort,” said wedding executive, Ema Rayasi.

The FJ$500,000 (approximately AU$270, 266) Sogo Lagilagi package also includes tropical floral arrangements, table settings, entertainment, chapel or venue hire, a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner and a minister or celebrant.

Set on a hill overlooking the only white sandy beach on Fiji’s main island, Club InterContinental features a private infinity pool and lounge area. Club guests can enjoy complimentary all-day refreshments, evening canapés and cocktails and a 24-hour Itokani butler service, among other benefits.
