Belle Époque's Final First Tuesday Champagne Club

The straight Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. The strength of this prestige cuvée is in its finesse and elegance, much like its namesake Belle Epoque Restaurant, which makes it the perfect drop to say goodbye.

After two and a half years, French Bistro Belle Époque restaurant will soon close her intricate doors. To celebrate an amazing few years, Belle Epoque is inviting champagne lovers to an indulgent affair at their final ever First Tuesday Champagne Clubthis coming Tuesday September 7.

Hosted as always by the renowned Bernadette O’Shea, attendees will be treated to a special evening savoring the flavours of Perrier-Jouet featuring their prestige label aptly named Belle Epoque translating into a beautiful era.

Each month for the last year, the First Tuesday Champagne Club has seen hundreds of Belle Epoque’s guests focus on a different vintage. And for the ultimate indulgence, and quintessential culinary pairing, guests sipped and slipped their way through freshly shucked seasonal Oysters to accompany the champagne house.

Champagne’s showcased on Tuesday September 7 will include:

  • Perrier-Jouët NV Blason Rosé

O’Shea is holder of the prestigious Vin de Champagne Award. For her services to the industry she has been inducted into the L'ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and is a recipient of the very rare un Ruban vert (green ribbon) award.  She has also been invested with the Chevalier de l'ordre du Merite Agricole, a knighthood from the French Government for her work in the Champagne industry, an honour hardly ever bestowed on any woman outside France.
