Colours of Autumn in the Blue Mountains

The Australian bush doesn't show seasonal changes in the same dramatic ways as the softer vegetation of Europe, but in the wonderful temperate gardens that grow in the mild climate of the Mountains, the variation in colour is spectacular.

In Autumn the gardens are at their glorious best. You will see the flaming reds, russet browns and golds in close contrast with the rich colours of the native trees and flowers.

Above all it's a time for crisp mornings, days that are just made for a round of golf, a game of tennis or a brisk walk in the bush and the evenings are cool.

Visit the Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Oberon Tourism website for a full calender of Autumn events and attractions.
